Catweazle as proto-Radagast Can't Post

I've just come across the first episode of Catweazle. After watching it, I think I can safely say that Peter Jackson saw it as a child and enjoyed it, because a good many of Catweazle's mannerisms are (subsequently) Radagast's mannerisms. Has anyone else watched it, and if so, could they comment?
