Prayers for tornsibs in Greece and Turkey- massive earthquake this afternoon Can't Post

If you're a Greek or Turkish tornsib, please check in and let us know you're ok.

Our prayers and hugs are with you, since we cannot be with you in person Heart

For those of you who aren't aware, there was a shallow 7.0 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Turkey near the borders of Turkey and Greece this afternoon. 26 dead so far, over 800 injured, and many buildings collapsed and a mini-tsunami was triggered Frown

My writing and novels:

My Hobbit Fanfiction

My historical novel print and kindle version

My historical novels ebook version compatible with all ereaders

You can also find my novel at most major book retailers online (and for those outside the US who prefer a print book, you can find the print version at Book Depository). Search "Amazing Grace Amanda Longpre'" to find it.

Happy reading everyone!

I saw it on the news this morning [In reply to] Can't Post

So many buildings crumbled like they were made of sand. So terrifying. Prayers to sibbies and to all of those affected by this horrible calamity.

Prayers also STILL go out to California, Colorado and all other areas of Western US still on fire! Those flames seem to be trying to eat all of those lands from the mountains to the water. Heaven help them... and Southern US hit AGAIN (7th time?) with yet another hurricane.

The climate is in upheaval.

We have been there and back again.

So sad. [In reply to] Can't Post

What devastation earthquakes cause. I was reading that they're still pulling people out of the rubble, injured but alive.

Prayers to all those affected, and to those working so hard to recover them and care for them - and for the cleanup and rebuilding. Heart

Oh my, oh my. [In reply to] Can't Post

I've watched the aftermath of too many of these. I particularly remember one that devastated parts of Turkey, maybe in the 90's, not sure. The U.S coverage went on for days, so it must have been one of the more major ones. Unbearable to watch after awhile.
Prayers for all.
