Hottest male fictional character? Can't Post

Which male fictional character leads the pack on the 'hotness' scale? Feel free to nominate someone else who isn't on the list!

(I'll leave it to a male TORNado to create a 'hottest female fictional character' poll...)

This was a tough one. [In reply to] Can't Post

Although I voted for Aragorn, I would also have to add:

Spike from 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'
Gaius Baltar from the new 'Battlestar Galactica'
Sawyer from 'Lost'
Captain Jack Sparrow and Will Turner from 'Pirates of the Caribbean'

Does Mr Darcy count? [In reply to] Can't Post

Or Rochester from 'Jane Eyre'? Actually, when I was about 12 my heart totally belonged to Guy Charlton, from Lorna Hill's 'Castle in Northumbria' books. (He also crops up in the 'Sadler's Wells' books, where he marries Jane.) Guy could do everything - dive, swim, ride a horse, camp, hike, etc. - and all of it of course better than anyone else. My preteen heart desired him madly - I spent one summer shut in my room reading all the Lorna Hill books and pining! So, for nostalgia's sake, I nominate Guy Charlton! Laugh

Ah, my ten-year-old heart beat only for Captain Solo. [In reply to] Can't Post

He was all I wanted in a hero: handsome, brave, a bit of a rogue and a deadly shot.

HeartHeart Now, my heart belongs to Mr. Darcy. *swoon* Even better,Heart Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy.Heart Hubba hubba.HeartHeart

Is that enough hearts?

Oh my, my, my, my, my..... [In reply to] Can't Post

Erik from "The Phantom of the Opera" was really my first real fictional crush. Sure he's more 'crazy' in the book then the musical but I still Heart him.

Louis from Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles captured my heart as well.

Luke in "Return of the Jedi" was quite hunky as well. That light saber scene with him and Darth near the end of the film. He in his wonderful dark outfit. *sigh*

I voted for Aragorn [In reply to] Can't Post

I had childhood crushes on John Brooke and Laurie Laurence, Batman, and Quentin. But Aragorn has been the most enduring. I've had my eye on him since 1970. Yum!

Jack was very funny, but I don't know about hot... [In reply to] Can't Post

Will Turner, on the other hand, WAS hot, especially in the scene after the credits of the third movie, where he either came back for good or for that one day every 10 years--never did get the straight of that.

I picked Aragorn [In reply to] Can't Post

But (sorry Viggo) I'm thinking book!Aragorn really. Because I've had a crush on him since I was 12!

Bond - particularly the Daniel Craig version - very hot, but also a bit of a sadistic killer, which is sort of a turn-off.

Special recognition to Captains Jack Sparrow and Mal Reynolds. Cool

Mr. Darcy! [In reply to] Can't Post

Indiana Jones does rate pretty high with me, as does John Crichton of Farscape.
