That was not easy [In reply to] Can't Post

I ended up cutting the letters out like Scrabble tiles. That really helped.

BAGGINS B'DAY PARTY!

Thanks, Gramma. Fiendish.

Scrabble Scramble! [In reply to] Can't Post

Great idea! Have you ever played Bananagram? You'd like it. It's an individual scrabble game (multiple players or single) without a board or numbers. The letter tiles come in a yellow cloth zipper bag shaped like a banana. My family's favourite :D
Thanks for playing!

Got 1/2 right [In reply to] Can't Post

Yes, I could decipher the 4 lines, but I couldn't even grasp the last unscrambled free-for-all. The closest I came was this, which I don't think you intended: Tongue

Ash nazg durbatulűk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulűk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul.’

Aaaaaaargh! I got it! [In reply to] Can't Post

But....because I am sooooo imprecise at reading directions (especially with numbers in them), there were several - laughable - detours, but as I know this about myself from long, painful experience, I just kept going back and re-reading your instructions, gramma. Such a grand feeling of accomplishment to start off the day, as much as that I did it as that I did it, if you get my drift. Laugh

So, now I'll share some cake with the birthday boys. Flat white, anyone? Party on!

Thanks for the fun, gramms. Smile

I'm VERY impressed at your fortitude! I was not happy with those instructions. I must have re-written them 20 times... longer than I worked on the scrambled lines! Thank you for hanging in there :D
*eyes cakes* Ummmm... you know those are in danger right now... right? ;)

Silverlode

Roads go ever ever on
Under cloud and under star
Yet feet that wandering have gone
Turn at last to home afar.
Eyes that fire and sword have seen
And horror in the halls of stone
Look at last on meadows green
And trees and hills they long have known.
