Variety conducted an interview by phone with Hugo Weaving.

“‘Matrix’ might have happened,” he says. “But ‘Lord of the Rings,’ no, I would never — I’m not interested in that at all. Look, I loved being in New Zealand with all those great people, and it was like going back to a family but actually, to be honest, I think everyone had more than enough of it.”

We already know they're casting "younger" versions of the characters [In reply to] Can't Post

from knowing (with near certainty) that Morfydd Clark had been cast as a younger Galadriel.

And we already knew before now that some other actor would be playing Elrond in the show. I won't go as far as to call the article "click-bait", but it's aimed more at casual fans than the folks who have been following along all this time.
