Interview with Nazanin Boniadi; actors returning to New Zealand Can't Post

SBJCT has an interview with actress Nazanin Boniadi, dated August 1, 2020. Much of it is about Iran and human rights. Some is about her acting career. And there is a little bit about the Amazon series:

Quote
You have been cast in Amazon’s Lord of the Rings series which will send you to New Zealand for a year! What can we expect?

You can expect a lot of secrecy. My lips are sealed. But I can tell you that we had already started production before New Zealand had to lockdown because of the pandemic. We are all so very excited about what we’ve seen and experienced so far. It’s really magical. Just beyond. Ugh, I so wish I could share more. This is torture!

No big revelations, of course, but it's nice to read about her reaction to her experience on the show so far. I recall that Morfydd Clark expressed similar thoughts about the show in an interview with the Daily Mail:

Quote
'Every day your jaw drops on the floor again,' she said of the amazing scenes she and the cast have been preparing with director J.A. Bayona, who achieved recognition with his first feature film: the critically acclaimed Spanish horror movie The Orphanage. 'His imagination is just wild!' Clark said.

Boniadi was able to leave New Zealand in late March, and in the interview she says she can't wait to return to New Zealand to start filming again.

Speaking of returning to New Zealand, Tyroe Muhafidin recently posted a couple images of himself on Instagram, waiting in the Perth airport to fly to Auckland.

It looks like this series is going to happen.

Heh :) [In reply to] Can't Post

All I can say is I'll believe when I'll see it :) but I am not easily impressed ;). That they start work anew is expected, though I'm certain they have loads of work to do still, the show will not come for long time yet. So this kind of interviews and articles and the sort will appear and have appeared bringing basically nothing substantial.
