saw it the other day on Twitter and was really excited. My understanding is the book is finished and has in fact been finished for quite a long time (he mentioned that in a few Twitter replies), just waiting to be published, which should happen soon. That's fantastic news.

but I'm thinking the fact he was finally able/allowed to say the book was finished (while in the past he wouldn't even openly admit he was writing it, unless I missed it), together with the host's enthusiastic sort-of-an-announcement (which Doug Adams didn't directly contradict), must surely mean something. Or... not.
