**FD - Who Are You... Really? Name Generators! Can't Post

I don't know about you, but during these very long days of viral-seclusion I find I'm getting more reflective. Who am I? *bad memory kicks in* Who are YOU!? *blink blink* What am I doing here? *looks around* Where am I!? You know... the basic questions.

So I thought this would be a good time to repost some name generators for you soul-searching and alter-egoing enjoyment... and for a moment of Tolkien-zen ;)

From FD 2019 Party

When I encourage anyone to read The Lord of the Rings, the first thing I tell them is NOT to try and remember all the names and places! Just keep going! So all of us here are pretty adept, I'm sure, at dealing with multiple identities? So who are you as a Hobbit, or an Elf? Try some different variations and pick the one you like the most! It's like play tag... or tig...

ENJOY!

Yes!! [In reply to] Can't Post

My Elven name is "Elrond AnwarŁnya," and Elrond is a favorite of mine. I must say the last name is a little cumbersome, but I always liked Anwar Sadat, so I could live with Anwar as my nickname. (If Tolkien could be "Tollers," then I get some latitude too.)

My Hobbit name choices are: Honeysuckle Grubb or Mungo Grubb. Not as easy on the ears to be called "Grubb," and no man wants to be called Honeysuckle. How do I marry into a respectable family like "Baggins" and get my surname changed as part of the deal? :) On the plus side, better Mungo than Bungo, and I avoided Teleporno altogether, so coulda been worse.

Half-Half Elven :D [In reply to] Can't Post

That makes you Quart(er)! And/or you could come in pints!!!

Let's think of another version of Curious to address Honeysuckle. Hmmmm... Probie/Proby? Nosey? Snoopy? Or try your RL name. I like to do both versions :D
Mine is one whole name, so it can get tricksy. One I kinda like for an Elf name is Nellas PalantŪr. My hobbit name is Togo Proudfoot. This can be scary!

I love this stuff!!! :D I'm thinking the first name offered is female and the second is male.

We used to have links for Orc and Wizard names, but those aren't active anymore. Bummer...
