Slate review of "Re-Enchanted" by Maria Sachiko Cecire Can't Post

The review, titled The Enchantments of Escape, appeared in Slate Dec. 27, 2019. It is an interview of the author by Rebecca Onion.
Book's full title is Re-Enchanted: The Rise of Children's Fantasy Literature in the Twentieth Century. It's available through Amazon but not cheap, so if the reader has an interest in the Oxford School, including JRRT and C. S. Lewis, you might want to read the review first.

"I shall not wholly fail if anything can still grow fair in days to come."

That would be a great read :D [In reply to] Can't Post

It is a bit pricey after the holidays of lots of purchases, but I'm going to check the library. The academic library I retired from used to have an enlightened bibliographer for that subject area, so they hopefully got it for the collection. It would be well-supported by the literature departments. Then there's the local library, which is also great at supporting this sort of work.

THANKS for the heads-up!! :D

We have been there and back again.
