Could he be Ar-pharazon though?
He's also a Second Age villain...

In fact, a hero, a victim and a villain in turn.

Glad no one jumps to conclusions on this board. You guys are a riot - getting angry that attractive people are being cast in a TV show. Is this your first experience with mass media?

Not at all, which is why I said it. While it is certainly possible to find supremely attractive people who are also talented actors, generally there aren't enough who score in both columns to cast a TV series. Thus it's a pretty good indicator, with one's first glimpse at a show like Green Arrow (e.g.), what the producers care about and what they don't. Compare and contrast Daredevil, or Gotham.

Heck, the upcoming Witcher has even gone so far as to de-handsome Henry Cavill! And the actress cast as Yennefer must be very, very talented, because visually she rather stretches credulity as the self-created glamour goddess of the books.

PJ, note, cast inter alia Sean Bean, David Wenham and Cate Blanchett, whose features are most charitably described as "interesting."

PS: The JJ Abrams Star Treks were nothing but soulless, empty F/xtaculars.

Woman of the West? [In reply to] Can't Post

The biggest name that hadn't yet been cast is "Eldien", but I suspect (hope?) Ema Horvath is being tapped for a less prominent role, and the search for Eldien is ongoing.

My guess is that she's a Nķmenůrean: Erendis, Tar-AncalimŽ, or Tar-TelperiŽn. She seems like an AncalimŽ to me. My half-serious rationale for that guess is that she's an American.

HÍl‚ Auriwandil, angilŰ berhtost,
