***Favourite Chapters Project - Introduction/Welcome

We are about to start a programme of people presenting a favourite chapter from LOTR, The Hobbit or the Silmarillion. Each Monday from 25 November there should be a new thread, staring with a volunteer presenting their favourite chapter and trying to start a discussion about it.

Please support these discussions! Each week's leader will have done their best to present the chapter in whatever style they decided was best, but they can't have a discussion all by themselves! If you find you can't reply with your own ideas, comments, quotations, thoughts or so on, it doesn't take long to post a few words of appreciation for what you've just read. That's a very important contribution too.
If you'd like to present your own favourite chapter then all you have to do is volunteer! Speaking for myself, I'm particularly hoping to hear new voices, or from folks who don't usualy post. You can just put yourself on the schedule list - http://newboards.theonering.net/...i?post=967482#967482 Please post just your chosen date/chapter/your name in the same style you see there already (to keep the schedule easily readable). The date you choose should be a Monday, and not one that's already taken.
