True! [In reply to] Can't Post

I do the one-line-at-a-time trick, too... especially when I'm reading instructions during SAT / ACT tests! It really works :D

Bwahahaha! [In reply to] Can't Post

What an incredible, one-of-a-kind adventure! How awesome was it for all of your scattered family to find themselves in one place and hosted by a BRAVE, well-organized Leader! *high five* But I'll bet it often felt like you were herding cats! So many wonderful memories for such a diverse family. WELL DONE! That all calls for more than a sip from a glass. ;)

I understood my former choir director [In reply to] Can't Post

who said that when we got behind her beat, her arms would get tired from trying to haul us along with her. More than once I wished for a cattle prod - not for the old guys who really couldn't move any faster, but my brother who would just SIT there even when everyone else had gotten up and we were clearly readying ourselves to move on. He apparently cannot move until every last drop is gone from his cup or glass of whatever, and he's not in a hurry to finish. One time we actually all walked away from him as he sat there with a tiny bit of Coke still in his glass.

I am a dreamer of words, of written words. I think I am reading; a word stops me. I leave the page. The syllables of the words begin to move around The words take on other meanings as if they had the right to be young.
