the captions contest? Can't Post

It's been 3 weeks since I declared a winner, but perhaps said winner has not been checking, or who knows what? Life happens. I do enjoy this contest, and if others want to continue, should I declare a second winner? Or post a new picture (perhaps something less weird than an oliphaunt)? Or someone can just jump in there?

hanne [In reply to] Can't Post

Looking at hanne's posting history, I see that she(?) hasn't posted anything since August 6. I'm not sure that hanne has even been here since then.

Perhaps crown a new winner. [In reply to] Can't Post

It's been done before, for the same reason.

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauronís master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.
