Um... [In reply to] Can't Post

...Tauriel? (ducks)

Personal headcanons aside, I'll go with Feanor. Cranky elf dads make me smile.

I voted Maglor [In reply to] Can't Post

He seemed to have the most remorse for how awful they were, and I respect a good conscience.

Agreed [In reply to] Can't Post

I like to think that he would be welcomed back in Valinor someday with how repentant he was of his sins and that Ulmo took pity on him.

I agree! [In reply to] Can't Post

I like to think that as well. either that or At the end of the third age Elrond went looking for him and found him and dragged the sad sea hermit back to Valinor. (Elrond Probably Mothered him so much after that!)

That would be a nice ending for Maglor [In reply to] Can't Post

Rather than an eternity of singing sadly by the sea. It would be more satisfying if it were wrapped up somehow: either Ulmo taking pity on him and gaining a pardon for him, or sailing West with Elrond and Galadriel. Especially if he and Galadriel took ship together and laid to rest their families' enmity--that seems a Tolkienesque thing to do.

none? [In reply to] Can't Post

where is the option "none"?

Ok, I might be a bit more biased these days since I created my a grey-elven character for the two Tolkien Societies I nowadays am a member of but I never really could understand why they did not repent.
