Crew in the background during the battle of the last alliance Can't Post

This might be old news, but a google search did not yield any results, so I thought I'd share this little find.

I was, for fun and out of enthusiasm, editing a little teaser for the new tv-show based on the second age, using footage from the FotR prologue, and I was going through a shot of elrond fighting frame by frame, and suddenly saw a member of the crew dressed in a blue sweater and with a cap on sitting in the background of the shot. He's only there for a few frames. Does anyone know if this has been spotted before?

Half a league, half a league, half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death, rode the six hundred.
'Forward, the Light Brigade! Charge for the guns' he said:
Into the valley of Death rode the six hundred.

Theirs not to make reply, theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die:
Into the valley of Death rode the six hundred.

First time I've seen it, so it's new to someone regardless. Smile

Maybe an homage to the Blue Wizards? [In reply to] Can't Post

True, they're not in M-e yet, but when they do arrive they pretty much sit on the sidelines throughout the whole War of the Ring.

It's the first I've heard of it. [In reply to] Can't Post

Well spotted! Smile

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

"Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauronís master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak.

YouTube: Mistakes [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi,

It has been listed on Youtube (mistake no 6)...

Another mistake, really obvious, that I have not seen listed (but that must be old news)... When Aragorn, in TTT, guesses what happened to Merry and Pippin, we see a scene of Pippin under the horse with hands untied before we see him cutting his bounds.
