Watching the EEs for cheap?

I've been wanting to revisit the Hobbit trilogy and see the EEs for the first time, but I can't find any way to rent the Extended Editions. Various digital sites seem to only have them for purchase. Netflix DVD doesn't have it. My local library has AUJ EE, but not the rest! Anyone know of any way to watch them without purchasing a copy?

by your library borrowing them from other libraries? NZ libraries have an interloan system; perhaps your local library has something similar to offer. It can't hurt asking. :)
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. Our librarian will even order movies from Amazon if they don't have the movie in their system yet. (usually used/like new from third party vendors)
