Posted today in 'Off Topics - PJ and the Fab Four' and couldn't make the link clickable. I have Advanced Editor as my default and am using Microsoft Edge. Any help, please & thank you. Eldaria.

Links just pasted into the posting box do not become automatically clickable even in Advanced editor. You need to click the link (chain) icon in the posting box header, which will bring up a pop-up box. Make sure to delete the pre-filled http:// that is already in the box*, then paste your url into it and hit send. If you want to make a link attached to a word or line of text in your post instead of having the URL visible, then highlight that before clicking the link icon and pasting in the url and then that text will be clickable. *Because otherwise the link will show up with two of them and won't work.

I thought previous links I pasted were automatically clickable. Thanks for the help.

You can copy and paste the URL, then in front of the URL type {url] and after it type {/url] But use a [ instead of the {. If I'd used [ in the example, I'd have made "and after it type" a link!
