Has anyone heard from Brethil? Can't Post

It's been 3 years since the death of her son, and I was thinking about her the other day and wondering how she is doing. I pm'd her but haven't heard back, and haven't seen her on the boards since her son passed away.

I would really like to know if possible if she's ok, considering.

My writing and novels:

My Hobbit Fanfiction

My historical novel print and kindle version

My historical novels ebook version compatible with all ereaders

You can also find my novel at most major book retailers online (and for those outside the US who prefer a print book, you can find the print version at Book Depository). Search "Amazing Grace Amanda Longpre'" to find it.

Happy reading everyone!

She is hanging in there [In reply to] Can't Post

but isn't able to get back on the boards at this time.

I'll let her know you're thinking about her! It will mean a lot to her. Smile

I've been thinking of her, too. [In reply to] Can't Post

If you could pass on my regards as well. Thank you. Heart

Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the hand on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow;
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow....

I just let her know. [In reply to] Can't Post

She'll be pleased you're thinking of her.
It's too hard for her to be back on the boards, at least for now, because her son posted here and also loved all things Tolkien. But she misses you all.

Say hi for me! [In reply to] Can't Post

One of my favorite TORsibs.

******************************************
The audacious proposal stirred his heart. And the stirring became a song, and it mingled with the songs of Gil-galad and Celebrian, and with those of Feanor and Fingon. The song-weaving created a larger song, and then another, until suddenly it was as if a long forgotten memory woke and for one breathtaking moment the Music of the Ainur revealed itself in all glory. He opened his lips to sing and share this song. Then he realized that the others would not understand. Not even Mithrandir given his current state of mind. So he smiled and simply said "A diversion.”

Jumping in a little late... [In reply to] Can't Post

But let her know I said hi as well and send my good wishes. We understand if she can't handle the reminders of being here, but she is not forgotten and will be joyously welcomed if she ever feels she can drop by. Heart

Roads go ever ever on
Under cloud and under star
Yet feet that wandering have gone
Turn at last to home afar.
Eyes that fire and sword have seen
And horror in the halls of stone
Look at last on meadows green
And trees and hills they long have known.
