Website link broken Can't Post

Esteemed admins, a 'sib has just let me know that the link to my website on my TORn profile page is broken. That is, my website exists in cyberspace just fine, but the link to it from TORn leads only to a TORn error message. I have no idea how long it's been broken---months? years? The question is, can it be fixed?

Thank you!

Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
Where is the hand on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow;
The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow....

Interesting! [In reply to] Can't Post

It looks like there's some "garbage" in the link url, as it leads to newboards.theonering.net/forum/gforum/perl/gforum.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lillianstewartcarl.com

Quite a mouthful! Lily, can you remove that link, and type in the real one, then see if that does the trick? (I'd do it, but I'm unable to edit profiles.)

Okay [In reply to] Can't Post

I deleted the link that was there and typed it in again and it still goes nowhere. Puzzlement!

I now have places to go and people to see, but will try again tomorrow morning when I'm back at the keyboard. In the meantime, if you can think of any other options....

Thank you!

The "garbage" is still there [In reply to] Can't Post

Very strange.

I tried this: I right-clicked, and scrolled down to "Go to http://..." etc., and found myself at your website with no problems.

So why is the "garbage" code showing up when clicking directly on the link, but not when right-clicking!

I just tested it in my own profile. Sure enough, the code "newboards.theonering.net/forum/gforum/perl/gforum.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2F" is added to the front of the URL.

I'm going to send this problem to our website experts!
