A Bestiary of Tolkien: A Coloring Book (2016; Thunder Bay Press; 978-1-62686-777-2) Artists: Mauro Mazzara and Andrea Piparo My wife spotted this at a local discount bookstore and on a whim picked up a copy for me. The illustrations include characters and creatures from the First Age to the War of the Ring. A companion volume also exists: Tolkien's World: A Coloring Book (978-1-62686-773-4).

I've often wondered whether a Tolkien coloring book could succeed.

The authorized coloring books for The Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies were both released within the last year or two, though I don't possess either one. One minor correction: My spouse did not find the Bestiary one at a discount book store but at a regional chain called Ollie's Bargain Outlet. They carry a lot of remaindered books among many other things.
