Hi, everyone. I have been lurking on TORn since before the movies came out. I did a search for Tolkien and came across TORn. My wife is Alcarcalime and she finally convinced me to sign up on the new boards.

I am an electrical engineer with a job title of industrial engineer, but I actually do computer programming.

I read the books in the early '70s when someone at work loaned them to me. I rushed out and bought my own set. I have been reading them at least once a year ever since.
