"Tell him Faramir sends him a mighty gift" Can't Post

It made for a good line moment in the EE, but then I got thinking "hold on, is he going to send the Ring off with a few random guards and actually expect it'll end up making it to his father? Those guys will be fighting over it 5 minutes after they are out of Faramir's sight.

The movie Faramir didn't seem as concerned about keeping the Ring secret from his men as book Faramir either. He and Sam were blabbing about it right out in the open.

there are certainly moments that initially had me going.... NO NO NO...

I've learned to breathe and realize that even the movies characters know things are not right...
