The Fall of Gondolin - Can't Post

I know there was an earlier thread but I am not sure if this same info was presented.

"HarperCollins has announced that it will, for the very first time, publish The Fall of Gondolin on 30 August this year."

Won't it be more a thing of its own? [In reply to] Can't Post

The Fall of Gondolin will follow the same format as Beren and Lúthien published last year, separating out the story so that it stands alone while showing how the narrative evolved over the years.

It must be very difficult to present this story in that way, given that much of the later material concern the earliest part of the tale.

Either they must go back and forth between early and evolved state (Possibly Beren and Luthien did this to some degree also), or else they'll need to reset two thirds into the book, and let the tale start over again with the later material.
