Winter Warm-up: who received which gift? Can't Post

While going through some printouts of posts from the Old Boards, I've come across logic puzzles created by Roheryn. Here's a winter-weather one!

Knowing that the Fellowship soon would be faced with a snowy, bitter winter as they crossed the Misty Mountains, Arwen knitted gifts for four of the Fellowship (Legolas, Gimli, Aragorn, and Boromir) before they departed Rivendell (she figured the hobbits would simply eat enough to stay warm). Each of the gifts (hat, muffler, scarf, and mittens) was a different color (green, red, yellow, or blue). From the following clues, can you match each gift with its recipient and determine its color?

1. Arwen gave Gimli the hat.

2. Three of the gift recipients were Legolas, the one whose gift was green, and the one who received the mittens.

3. Neither the mittens nor the scarf was blue.

4. Arwen gave neither Legolas nor Boromir the muffler.

5. Gimli's gift wasn't green, and Legolas's gift wasn't red.

Have fun! Cool

Aragorn got a green muffler.

Roads go ever ever on
Under cloud and under star
Yet feet that wandering have gone
Turn at last to home afar.
Eyes that fire and sword have seen
And horror in the halls of stone
Look at last on meadows green
And trees and hills they long have known.

The answers! [In reply to] Can't Post

Thank you to everyone who's figured this out (or just had fun reading it)!

Everyone's answers have been correct. Smile
Gimli received a blue hat.
Legolas, a yellow scarf.
Aragorn, a green muffler.
Boromir, red mittens (maybe Arwen was trying to make it harder for him to take the Ring from Frodo?)
