Finish the sentence- - *Part Three* Can't Post

I have an announcement. This is the final episode of ‘Finish the Sentence’. “Hurray! Hurray! Bracegirdle! Bracegirdle! Jolly old Bracegirdle!” Come loud shouts of joy as all the world’s TORnsibs cheer and begin to vigorously dance the Springle-ring.

Anyway . . Frown the object is still to complete each sentence with a Tolkien person, place, or thing.

Example: A 1959 Fairlane 500 is an ___ ____. (Old Ford)

Or it may be a “sounds like”.
Example: A butcher uses a scale to _____ ____. (Weigh meat = Waymeet)
You can look at other’s answers or (better yet) give it your own go. Angelic

How many can you get?

1. The Hammerer’s tavern might be called The ____ ___.
2. An unearthly creature’s inner footwear is _____ _____.
3. A slender hockey point is a ____ ____.
4. A misplaced theater walkway is a ____ _____.

5. If Sir Galahad were the smallest integer he would be known as a _____ __ ______.
6. He was aware it was fish eggs because he ____ ___.
7. To open a hammerhead you need a _____ ___.
8. A gimpy-legged mafia head is a ____ ___.

9. A game of 8 ball played near the Swanfleet might be called __ _____ ____.
10. A one dollar hummock is a ____ ____.
11. Slender frozen water is ______ ___.
12. A distant whatchamacallit is a ____ ____.

‘. . . the rule of no realm is mine . . .
But all worthy things that are in peril . . . those are my care.
For I also am a steward. Did you not know?'

We are the fighting Uruk-Hai! We slew the great warrior! Well, yeah, first he killed a bunch of us and another whole lot of Mauhúr's lads, and we had to shoot enough arrows into him to drop a Mûmak. But we got him!

Only one VERY MINOR correction:

1. An unearthly creature’s inner footwear is a Wight Sock (white sock)

Should read - An unearthly creature’s inner footwear is wight socks (White-socks).
But what's a single sock amoung friends. Wink

Feel free to tackle the last 6 if you wish. These seem to be too rough for the average Beorn LaughLaugh.

Thanks for playing. (again)

I didn't know that the Swanfleet was also called Nîn-in-Eilph (and Glanduin).

Ok then, Nin-in-Eight sounds like a fun game we could make up! [grin]

Actually I just picked 'Swanfleet' for no particular reason - just 'water'.

My answer:
A game of 8 ball played near the Swanfleet might be called By water pool. whiteout Wink
