that howard shore is tapped to do the music.

even if everything else was wrong, he could create an extended musical work that would stand by itself, as well as integrate well with the existing music.

cheers --

hallo! :) [In reply to] Can't Post

thank you so much for the warm greetings, so very much appreciated. :)

re the rest.... well, there's ample room for things to be significantly better (and this has been the status for a long while, which is why i have not been able to frolic on the boards in such a long time).

however, your cheery hello and hearty well-met makes all the difference. :) thank you so much for brightening my day, and my sincere, most hobbity well-wishes to you, yours, and your kin and clan. :)

many cheers! :)

My dear lady, I have often wondered and thought about you. Sorry to hear things are not all the best, but know you always have my warm friendship. Especially I thought about you after we lost SGH, may she rest in peace! Smile

It's been a while - you've been missed!

gramma is away for a bit, gallivanting around Wellington and Hobbiton, so here is a... *flying-tackle-hug* from her! Laugh

hello, lovely dernwyn :) [In reply to] Can't Post

thank you so much for the kind thoughts. it warms the heart to be welcomed so, and is as good as pulling up a comfortable, padded chair right up to the circle of friends who are settled in front of the fireplace with warm mugs of tea, bits to nibble on the plate, and plenty of stories and catch-up to share.

flying-tackle hugs back! :) (think tiger hobbes... :) )

many cheers -- :)

Results to date. [In reply to] Can't Post

It's interesting that many here would like the series to delve deeply into the First and Second Ages, though that seems unlikely to actually happen. Also, many more 'Other' responses than I would have expected.

There is a lot of support for either (or both?) adapting "The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen" or drawing on the history of Eriador throughout the Third Age, something that could certainly be done through an anthology series.

Second Age wins. [In reply to] Can't Post

None Ioreth? Were you thinking differently about the series back when the deal was first announced? It was interesting to speculate about the show's plot and setting, long before we learned that the focus would be on the Second Age.

well, I had no idea [In reply to] Can't Post

that they were doing this. Back then.
And everything I now these two days or such have seen or read convinces me that this, as usual, is NOT my cup of tea.
