What makes you frazzled?
Poll: What makes you frazzled?
Everything. My life is a nightmare.
Everything. Life is more exciting with frazzling.
Nothing. I am one with the universe. "Frazzled" is a choice, brothers and sisters.
Nothing. "Suck it up!" is my motto.
This poll, but I'll put up with it if it means Darkstone will be able to post multiple polls sooner.
Waiting for Rocket Lab, Mahia, NZ to launch.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1K9PVmjjI_c
Other. (This is frazzling me, so you lot can come up with your own answers.)

Everything, sort of [In reply to] Can't Post

It's not that my life is a nightmare, I'm just really bad at handling stress and have crippling anxiety and self-esteem problems. They're not as bad now as they have been at some other points so ... progress, I guess, though I've backslid before. Tongue

I am most frazzled by [In reply to] Can't Post

my inability NOT to be frazzled by what other people do or say. I'm trying to cultivate a live-and-let-live mindset but it's hard--especially these days.

After 8 deployments to the Persian Gulf region [In reply to] Can't Post

and getting shot at more times than I can remember, I have a pretty good handle on not letting minor things frazzle me. As long as no one is trying to kill me, I can keep a balanced perspective on what really matters.

Not really things so much as just certain days [In reply to] Can't Post

Somedays I can handle the stress (and boredom, mostly boredom) that comes with the normal middle-class life in the USA, and somedays I don't do so well. I'm not sure why that is - lack of sleep, too much caffeine (or not enough), or something else. 2017 for me had so many changes, some good & some bad, that I've considered writing a memoir about it. But truthfully, my life is pretty normal and secure (and somewhat boring), so there's not really much to stress about. I wouldn't say I'm one with the universe or anything so early 70s as that, but yeah, overall life is pretty good. I don't even think my weight is stressing me out as much as it used to, and that's always been "my precious."

Not much [In reply to] Can't Post

Now that I have retired, I don't have the stress that went with medical practice, and my blood pressure has gone down. As long as I have enough to eat and drink, and enough books to read, life is pretty good.
