Google Doodle Anyone?

For the past several years, I have contacted Google and asked them to do a Google Doodle to J.R.R. Tolkien’s b’day. You know… those swifty, nifty search box banners they have for special people and occasions? Obviously, they jumped right on it! :{ In the Q&A section, their response to Google Doodle requests is: You can find information about Google Doodles here. The ideas for the doodles come from numerous sources including Googlers and Google users. If you have a suggestion for a Google Doodle, you can email it to proposals@google.com. Of course, you'll need to let Google know well before the event! How about 6 years of asking? So I’m putting out a call for everyone to do just that! Send a request or suggestion for an annual J.R.R. Tolkien Birthday Google Doodle starting next January 3rd (1892)! There were some Middle-earth/Tolkien doodles in the past; but when you do a search on their site, it says there are none. However, I snagged some when they originally came out and have listed them below. So if you see any that you’d like to suggest they use for Tolkien’s b’day, feel free to pass any of these on to them. TORn hasn’t flexed its muscles for quite a while… here’s our chance :D Examples of Doodles Past: Tolkien anagram One Ring Dragon Tolkien Tree, Door, Lanky Hobbity JRRT Anagram Eye of Sauron Gandalf JRRT Elven script 1 JRRT Elven script 2 Fellowship Ring 1 Ring 2 dragon worm
