Who is the Hobbit who looks like Sean Astin in the market ExEd scene? Can't Post

Anyone know who the "Sam" hobbit in the extended edition market scene is? I can't find anywhere that Sean Astin came in for a cameo. Were they making it look like a young Gaffer with baby Sam? :)

The baby probably couldn't have been Samwise. In Tolkien's legendarium he was born in 2980; I doubt he was born before the year 2963 in the films. The babe might have been his oldest sibling Hamson Gamgee (though we'd still have to cheat a little on his age)! Tongue
