In a game of basketball "HORSE".
RULES: First player makes any shot. If a basket is made the second player must match the exact shot or he gets an "H". First to spell "HORSE" loses! 
So, who wins??

Beren has greater reach, is able to play "above the rim", and will never commit an illegal double dribble. But Frodo has a quicker first step, is faster because it takes less time for nerve impulses to travel from his brain to his arms and legs, and can cross dribble.
But in the event:
