To save money TV series use the same interior sets and exterior locations over and over again. What should the main setting be for the Amazon M-e TV series?

Everyone: “Fatty!” Bartender: “What’s shaking, Fatty?” Fatty Bolger: “All four cheeks and a couple of chins.”

Yes, I imagine that that the House of Elrond might be a recurring set. Others we might see often later include Edoras and Minas Tirith, maybe Mithlond, Moria, Bree and/or Lothlorien.

Merry: "My ideal weight... if I were 11 feet tall." (Such a good show.)

WHAT! Not on the list? You can't be serious Shirley surely... More choices next time if you please... Edited to say: keep up the good work DS. Some people are actually taking this seriously.

The Last Homely House with it's safety, comforts, archives, and architecture would be a refuge and place of rejuvenation for friendly travelers and good-deed-doers to come back to in between adventures. The Hall of Fire would serve as a place to catch up on news. Wouldn't it be nice to have a musical part of the series putting the evolving story into song around the fire there? That would be very Tolkien and, as we saw with Pippin's song in ROTK, beautiful and engaging if done well. The surrounding natural scenery would be spectacular: mountains, river, waterfalls, gardens. I still see Bilbo's look of longing in AUJ when he and the dwarves leave Rivendell. And certainly some roadside inn somewhere "where everybody knows your name" - unless you don't want them to. More music in the background. More exchanges of information. More food and drink. And here there may be bad guys as well as good.

If it is indeed set between TH and LotR, Eriador and Wilderland. The mixture of emptiness, places of significance and wilderness is perfect.
