The Faramir Experience Can't Post

If you're in trouble he will save the day,
He's brave and he's fearless come what may,
Without him the Ringquest would go astray.

He's Fara, Fara, Fara, Faramir,
Without him life would be much grimmer,
He's handsome, trim, and no-one slimmer,
He will never need a zimmer.

He's Fara, Fara, Fara, Faramir,
More reliable than a garden trimmer,
He's never been mistaken for Yul Brynner,
He's not bald, and his head doesn't glimmer.

Master of the wit and the repartee,
His refusal of the Ring is uncanny,
How come he's such a paragon? Don't ask me!

Ask Fara, Fara, Fara, Faramir,
He's also a fantastic swimmer,
And if you play your cards right,
Then he just might come round for dinner.

The audacious proposal stirred his heart. And the stirring became a song, and it mingled with the songs of Gil-galad and Celebrian, and with those of Feanor and Fingon. The song-weaving created a larger song, and then another, until suddenly it was as if a long forgotten memory woke and for one breathtaking moment the Music of the Ainur revealed itself in all glory. He opened his lips to sing and share this song. Then he realized that the others would not understand. Not even Mithrandir given his current state of mind. So he smiled and simply said "A diversion.

They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters, these see the works of the Lord, and His wonders in the deep. -Psalm 107
