Pieces of Middle-earth near us

A friend of a friend was developing a homestay space on his rural property when he thought, "Why not turn it into a smial?" I had the chance to look at it now that it's done and it's so cute - complete with a round door, grass roof and recycled timbers and windows. It even looks out onto a small lake. I'm just so impressed with the creativity of so many people who have a cool idea and somehow make it work. Do any of you guys know of similar Hobbit holes that have been built near you? If you want to see a pic of this latest one, search for Lake End Hurworth Taranaki.
Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. I like the way they've got round the problems of hanging a circular door - nice touch. Interesting-looking ceramic panels, too.

but I'm always seeing signs of halfling occupation here in Pennsylvania. ;) And this old mathom: If I knew of a "real" hobbit hole on any of my travel routes, I'd be ALL. OVER. that! Somebody did have his own Hobbit House built over in Chester County, but I've never seen it in person. I never even got that planned Bag End facade put into the garden bank... :/
