Once Radagast dreamt he was a moth, a moth flitting and fluttering around, happy with himself and doing as he pleased. He didn't know he was Radagast. Suddenly he woke up and there he was, solid and unmistakably Radagast. But he didn't know if he was Radagast who had dreamt he was a moth, or a moth dreaming he was Radagast. Between Radagast and a moth there must be some distinction! But really, there isn't, because he's actually Aiwendil dreaming he's both Radagast *and* a moth!

Hello Darkstone, twould not be sporting if Sir Edmund is a few hundred feet from the summit and Saruman concocts a lightning and snow storm to blast him when he is so close. Sir Ed needs some Elvish anti sorcery medallion to ward off diabolical evil weather systems. So he can climb Caradhras fair and square.....

Sir Edmund Percival Hillary KG ONZ KBE (20 July 1919 – 11 January 2008) was a New Zealand mountaineer, explorer, and philanthropist. On 29 May 1953, Hillary and Nepalese Sherpa mountaineer Tenzing Norgay became the first climbers confirmed to have reached the summit of Mount Everest. They were part of the ninth British expedition to Everest, led by John Hunt. TIME magazine named Hillary one of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century.
Hillary became interested in mountaineering while in secondary school. He made his first major climb in 1939, reaching the summit of Mount Ollivier. He served in the Royal New Zealand Air Force as a navigator during World War II. Prior to the 1953 Everest expedition, Hillary had been part of the British reconnaissance expedition to the mountain in 1951 as well as an unsuccessful attempt to climb Cho Oyu in 1952. As part of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition he reached the South Pole overland in 1958. He subsequently reached the North Pole, making him the first person to reach both poles and summit Everest.

Hello Lena01, you may have seen documentary "the wildest dream" narrated by liam neeson, early 2000s i think?? if not, it's a great well thought out detective story as american ace climbing team, think it was conrad aken? find mallory's body after 75 yrs frozen to everest - id'd by clothes with nametags, personal effects, well preserved. so the question is did mallory make it to the top and then suffer a fatal fall with a shattered leg coming down or did it happen when he was only 100s of ft from the summit. he was last spotted with his young climbing partner about 800 ft from top.
it's really well done, great historic stills and newsreel footage. mallory the first conquest of everest in 1924? or is he 2nd place RIP to sir ed.....?????
The Misty Mts or Grey Mts or Mts of Mordor or White Mts or Blue Mts - I ponder which had the highest peak in Middle Earth?? gundabad? Lonely Mt, Caradhras?
