MAY the FOURTH be with you!!! Can't Post

Today is Star Wars Day! What will you be doing to celebrate? Lest we forget, Carrie Fisher is very much on my mind today. I'm also doing a Star Wars Marathon. I've also put together a special BS in honour of the day... so have a peek at May the Fourth Be With You

And a Roguish One it may be. [In reply to] Can't Post

I have the Blu-ray of Rogue One which we still haven't seen even once. We'll probably watch it tonight. I've got TBS on now with the original six airing.

Star Wars in sixty minutes downunder. [In reply to] Can't Post

It's the Fourth somewhere in the world, though no longer in Wellington, so if I can get my act together to get into town, this looks like fun.

I just finished TBS, too! [In reply to] Can't Post

I watched it whilst drinking from my Stormtrooper mug.

I normally don't like to watch the movies I love on TV to avoid the ads, but there was a lot of fun with Guardians of the Galaxy snippets! I'm planning on seeing it tomorrow!

Hah, late to the party on this one! [In reply to] Can't Post

Haven't seen Rogue One yet, but am otherwise up to date. Watching my grandsons humming the Imperial March while playing with Star Wars Lego is great fun - I remember how blown away I was when I saw the first film back in '77, though I was 25 and they are 6 and 4!

Rogue One [In reply to] Can't Post

I switched away from the marathon at 8 p.m. At 9 we finally watched Star Wars: Rogue One. I just finished watching the bonus material on disc 2 a few minutes ago.

Rogue One may not be my favorite SW movie but I still enjoyed it. The film has a different tone; by the end it feels a bit like The Dirty Dozen. I do wish that it had ended a bit differently for at least one or two of the principal characters.

Oh.. me too. [In reply to] Can't Post

It's the kind of outcome that usually totally spoils a film for me and I won't watch it again... or turn it off beforehand. Same with #7. I was lovin' it... then. Rogue One is very well done, but won't be watched as much as 4, 5 & 6. I'm really looking forward to December's Last Jedi. But I'm kinda scared, too.

I just came from Guardians of the Galaxy v.2! I like it better than v.1!!!

I got there Sat. evening, but [In reply to] Can't Post

they hadn't expected it to be as popular as it turned out to be and there were no seats available. Aaargh! I couldn't make it to the Sunday shows because, well, I had tickets for the "Beauty and the Beast" sing-a-long at the Roxy. Laugh Singing away at the top of my lungs with Sir Ian and Luke. Now that was fun! Wink

when WE can say, "I was there when it all started!" :D I was standing in line in '77, too ;) It was the first time I watched a film at the theatre multiple times (7 in all). ;)

Those were the days.... [In reply to] Can't Post

Stars Wars stayed in some theaters for months. I saw it in Bakersfield in 77 then in Louisville KY when my husband was at Ft. Knox in 78..
