Not sure if that's right - I'm not very good with roman numerals, but anyway, here goes: I'm sure some clever people will have fun with THIS one! Caption away!
I'd say I've entered my second childhood, but I never left the first!

****************************************** Boromir: "One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its Black Gates are guarded by more than just Orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep, and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire and ash and dust, the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume. Not with ten thousand men could you do this.” Gandalf: “Well, Sauron doesn't consider a nine-member fellowship to be any threat, or they'd have a tighter defense. An analysis of the plans provided by Lord Elrond has demonstrated a weakness in the Dark Land. But the approach will not be easy. You are required to pass over the mountains of Mordor and cross the plateau of Gorgoroth to this point. It's a small thermal exhaust port, right below the main port. The Cracks of Doom lead directly to the reactor system. A precise hit will start a chain reaction which should destroy Barad-dûr."

For still there are so many things that I have never seen: in every wood and every spring there is a different green. . .

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded beggar with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. Well, it was a tough choice - complicated by the fact that I moved over the weekend and haven't gotten Internet set up yet Doing this a work, obviously. Thanks to everyone who played, and there were some GREAT responses, but Gaffer Gamgee will be proud!
I'd say I've entered my second childhood, but I never left the first!
