Kili's Elvish word to Tauriel

''Amralimë''... sorry I don't know how to spell it. Tauriel's response was ''I don't know what that means''. I'm afraid I don't as well. Is this just a made up word in Elvish by Jackson, or it really exists in Tolkien's fictional world? Does anyone here knows?

Given that Tauriel did not understand the word, are you sure that it was Elvish and not Dwarvish?

Did you know that Boyens originally wanted Kili to kiss Tauriel at this scene (the shore scene)? It was too soon, then she moved it to the ending.

I'm pretty sure it means "Pull my finger".

That's why I made a thread asking. I never have interpreted this sutiation from your point of view; it makes sense. But, originally, I thought that it was a Elvish word due to the way it's pronunciation by Kili and the fact that he said to Tauriel ''I think you do [know what it means]. So I thought that Tauriel, was, I don't know, in denial or something.

Where did you see this? In the Appendices? I don't know if I agree with Boyens, however, since Tauriel kissing Kili when he was already dead seems to me to be a worse option.

That's a nice article, and explains a good potential translation for what Kili said. Makes sense, too.
