Finally finished my Hobbiton slideshow!

It was the music that took so long. I ended up using the beginning & end of "There and Back Again," and sandwiched "Concerning Hobbits" in between. Hope you like it! As an added bonus, here is a silly Hobbit fanvideo I made:

(Hopefully the mods will be kind and make these clickable - pretty please??) I started this video before my trip to New Zealand, but didn't actually get it finished until a few weeks ago - my bad! Didn't help much that my computer crapped out & had to be re-imaged, darn it! Anyway, I will have one more video of the Pelorus river, but no idea how long THAT'S going to take. Anyway, hope my friends on TORn enjoy these!

How on earth did I miss this? My bad, I guess. I haven't been scrolling through all the different threads as much as I used to. What a wonderful vacation you had, and thank you for posting your slides. I love the fact that they are keeping the pots of flowers fresh and alive and making everything look as though the people are still there. The sheep in the background are a nice touch, too! I'm green with envy.

I tried to make it as interesting as possible. It was a great trip, and my hubby & I are certainly talking about a return trip in a few years. However, today he's talking about building a new house, so that trip may have to wait a bit longer (not that a new house is a BAD thing!).
I'd say I've entered my second childhood, but I never left the first!

Oh, gosh, all those little details in Hobbiton, the flowers and veggies and clothes on the line and all the little things...this is such a "labor of love". Did they let you sit on Bilbo's bench?

So...will the new house have round doors and windows?

but somehow I doubt my hubby would go for that. However, I think he's fine with a flowerbed.
