- It's not important what you look like on the outside. It's what you are on the inside that counts. - Yeah, well, that's one of the advantages of being a kid - the biggest problem in your life seldom lasts more than twenty-four hours. - Me tell ________ (fill in the blank)? Oh, no, young man. You got yourself into this and you're going to get yourself out. If you were old enough and capable enough to decide you wanted to go in the first place, then you're old enough and capable enough to tell _______ (fill in the blank) that you've changed your mind and you're not going. - Children and adults look at the world through different eyes. When you're young - a ______ (fill in the blank) stands 10 feet tall. And, if you see it in print - it's supposed to be true. And, the first time you fall in love - it's not always with a girl. - Well, if it's any consolation to you, the same thing's happened to an awful lot of people. Big people and little people. They tried to tell the truth, and others just wouldn't listen to them or believe them. But the important thing is, no matter if anyone believes you, you just keep on telling the truth. - I wasn't mean, dear, I was just firm. - It happens to all of us. I remember once the kids called me "elephant ears". - Did it bother you? - No, not at all. It was Winter, and I just wore a stocking cap to school and pulled it down over my ears. - Oh, dear, what did you do when the warm weather came? - I learned to fight. Bonus: June "Well, Beaver, I just hope you realize that, wherever you go or whatever you do, there's always somebody watching you." (Oh...wait, maybe....)

May V beers be at your doorstep in the morning. Drink hearty (but wisely!) Wiser advice? Doesn’t matter if Eddie Haskell is on/in the flet/room there’s gonna be trouble and Wally and the Beav won’t listen anyway. Bonus: Galadriel, eat your heart out! How can one outdo a lady that’s perfectly coiffed and dresses as a party hostess high heels and all at 7 a.m., and never stops cooking and cleaning, cooking and cleaning. (Sounds like Oscar Madison to Felix Unger . Took Oscar how long to figure out that "F U" meant Felix Unger?)
‘. . . the rule of no realm is mine . . . But all worthy things that are in peril . . . those are my care. For I also am a steward. Did you not know?' Gandalf to Denethor

Emo front man Aragorn writes/sings angsty songs about love and death that are mostly unintelligible. He's from the wrong side of the tracks, in love with a girl from the good side of town, whose rich father has him run out of town with a warning not to come back till he's made something out of himself. Sounds like a bad Elvish, er, that is, bad Elvis movie. (Is the phase "a bad Elvis movie" redundant? When I was a kid I went to every Elvis, Jerry Lewis, and Hercules movie that came to town until I was old enough to know better.)
****************************************** "Mister Frodo, hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good frying pan at your side. I’ve been from one side of this garden to the other, I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to make me believe there's one all-powerful Providence controlling everything. There's no Music of the Ainur that controls my destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense."
