1. Travelling around Mirkwood.

...Gandalf, Bilbo and Beorn have been travelling around the border of Mirkwood after leaving the Lonely Mountain. They have chosen to skirt the Forest along the northern border on the edge of the waste and not to journey through Mirkwood as Bilbo and the Dwarves had attempted.

We have been there and back again.
