I pre-ordered Erebor a couple of days ago and was able to download the PDF this morning. After having looked it over I have to say that I wish this book had been completed an released many months ago! It fills in all of the parts of Wilderland and Rhovanion that were ignored in The Heart of the Wild, which concentrated on Mirkwood Forest and the lands between the Forest and the Misty Mountains. Erebor gives us a detailed look at the Dwarves of the Lonely Mountain and the city and people of Dale, as well as the lands between the Mountain and the Redwater River. And there is the addition of the Heroic Cultures of the Dwarves of the Iron Hills and the Dwarves of the Iron Mountains.

Erebor arrived with today's mail. The book is, of course, gorgeous.
