Hey Hobbit book fans, look what I found!

I found "The Hobbit" illustrated edition by Charles Dixon and David Wenzel at Sam's Club today: I don't know if this is a reissue of a graphic novel mentioned by Otaku-Sempei and others, but it looks pretty cool. I thought I'd get it as a collector's item. Anyway, I'm so attached to the movies that it looks a little weird to me, but I'm pretty sure this will follow the original book very closely. If you want your own copy, you might check out your local Sam's Club - good luck!

Eclipse Comics serialized The Hobbit as a three-issue comic-book series in 1989 and 1990 and it was collected as a graphic novel in conjunction with Ballantine Books. There have been numerous printings with several different covers. It's a bit wordy by comics standards, but it makes extensive use of Tolkien's original text.
