Since when does Batman: Mask of the Phantasm count as a live-action movie?

I voted The Dark Knight. Reason: Heath Ledger's Joker.

Then again, I preferred The Joker as the Clown Prince of Crime, demented and detached from reality but not psychotic. Ledger's Joker was just too over-the-top for my taste. I voted for Batman Begins because it had enough of the elements from the comic book roots to appeal to old time fans while still being fresh. Bruce Wayne/Batman is determined but not borderline psychotic (as some more recent writers have portrayed him) and not a caricature like the movies of the 80s/90s.
