They would like to see in a film of The Simarillion? Haven't seen anyone post their opinions or try to make their own, as I've invited them to do. They probably don't think it's worth it, do they?

I think that the topic is just worn out for the present.

Maybe you should let it lie fallow for a while (a few weeks or a few months).

The last forum I sent out is somewhere on page 7 or 8 and the last post was almost a month ago.

Maybe you should give it a while. Topics do tend to run in cycles and eventually we do get back to discussing it again. In the meantime if you want to discuss it 'now' you could branch out to other fan groups? (Mods: I don't think this recommendation breaks any board rule, but please tell me if I have done so, and accept my deepest apologies!) Please, don't think I am trying to chase anyone away from TORn (Please stay ange! We want you here!), but if TORn is worn out on the topic, maybe there is someone somewhere else who is just itching for a good discussion on the very same topic? Again, I don't want to sound unwelcoming. Believe me, I was just as frustrated when no one I saw on a face-to-face basis wanted to talk TH, LoTR, or anything Tolkien-related, but that is when if found TORn and I've been happy ever since!
