Would it be in the 1950s, where Toshiro Mifune would probably play Aragorn, or in the 1980s, where Mifune would be more suited for the role of Gandalf, for example.

lots i had to look up, but a couple i don't think i could get behind (namely Liam for Gandalf...though i don't have a good counter. and seth rogan, tho he may have something hidden if he wasn't doing slapstick comedy all the time.)

i'd throw in Andy Lincoln as a possible Aragorn
