New coffee painting - Faramir! Can't Post

It's me again ;) Got another coffee painting to show you ^^
This time it was Faramir's turn to be depicted, and I gave the original painting to the actor David Wenham.
Painted with instant coffee on A4 drawing paper:

You are very good [In reply to] Can't Post

So, Kotte, what other mediums do you use in your art?

Thank you! [In reply to] Can't Post

I like to use acrylics mostly, but lately it's been nothing but coffee. I've just started painting some canvas shoes with acrylic. Occasionally I'll use oil, but it's been about a year since my last oil painting ^^

Thanks for replying... [In reply to] Can't Post

I had wondered if you used other unusual materials in your art in addition to coffee. It is a far more versatile medium than many people would probably guess.

Roads go ever ever on
Under cloud and under star
Yet feet that wandering have gone
Turn at last to home afar.
Eyes that fire and sword have seen
And horror in the halls of stone
Look at last on meadows green
And trees and hills they long have known.

Lovely! [In reply to] Can't Post

I love the effect of watercolorsHeart, and artists who use sepia tones - and using a natural material like coffee is awesome!

And it is really nice you were able to give the original to the actor!Smile
