Middle-earth/Tolkien-inspired wreaths Can't Post

My sister has been making floral wreaths for her Etsy store, but then we got the idea, why not make wreaths inspired by Tolkien's detailed descriptions of the flora of Middle-earth? For instance, he describes there being nasturtiums, sunflowers, and snapdragons in the Bag End garden, so we created a wreath featuring those 3 flowers. We drew from locations in the films for some of them as well.

I'm sorry, [In reply to] Can't Post

but I had to delete your links. Advertisements for items to sell are a violation of our Terms of Service:

You can post pictures of the wreaths, but can not link to an Etsy shop. Your sister's wreaths are beautiful!

Bag End

Lothlorien, with "elanor," "niphredil," and "mallorn" leaves resembling the cloak brooches in the films

Erebor, with thrush & raven, Arkenstone bead and key, and sun & moon beads for Durin's Day, with a wool Lonely Mountain in the background

Tree of Gondor, with a white flower resembling the bloom seen in the film

Rohan, with flowers resembling simbelmyne

Beorn's garden, with a bee, purple lupines like the ones seen around his land in the film, and acorns, inspired by Bilbo's finding of an acorn in his garden

Dale, with the "bounties of vine and vale" (wool fruit) and a carousel (inspired by the merry-go-round in the films)

Mirkwood, with leaves and berries like Thranduil's crown, and of course mushrooms and spiders

Ithilien, with selections from Tolkien's detailed descriptions of the flora there (incl. cedar, pine, anemone, celandine, primrose, lily, stonecrop, asphodel, saxifrage, woodland hyacinth, holly, and sage)

Rhosgobel, with a bird and Sebastian the hedgehog (version 2 features a rabbit instead), greenery, and an acorn, inspired by the film backstory of an acorn sprouting beneath the floor and growing up through the house

Telperion & Laurelin

Laketown and Fangorn are in the works and will be coming soon!

New wreaths [In reply to] Can't Post

We have made Laketown and Fangorn-inspired wreaths.

Laketown: Features the black arrow, fishing net, barrels, fish, fishhook, anchor, "Gone Fishing" sign (hard to see in the pic), and seaweed (or lakeweed?)

Fangorn: Features pinecones, acorn, leaves/greenery, and hanging moss (like what was shown in the movies)
