 | Just wanted to add my thanks and the fun of deciphering the riddle (while, trying to) has been for me. Anxious to see if I am right or not.
 I actually take your post to mean that the news is positive, that your in and the official announcement will shortly be here. Welcome to six years of your life! I look forward to seeing your adaptation and interpretation of Middle Earth.

 Cheers!

 | Welcome, Guillermo! I suppose it is our turn to pose a riddle back, or be eaten. At this point at the end of an all-too-busy Sunday, I think I'll just slather on the ketchup and lie down on the bun quietly. Perhaps a sharper brain than mine can come up with one?

 | I couldn't find this idea yet, so here's my go at it

 ---

 A riddle for you all-
 Half familiar, half unknown. Two Movies, 'The Hobbit' and the bridge
 A thing it is, ¨It almost is-¨
 This thing all things devours:
 Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
 Gnaws iron, bites steel;
 Grinds hard stones to meal;
 Slays king, ruins town,
 And beats high mountain down. Time

 The day of the moon will be
 when all is revealed to thee
 Questions will cease
 Answers will please
 We´ll learn of the Shire
 and all you desire.  Monday

 At ten minus Three. 7
 Joining to be
 Ten minus Eight 2
 Add to the slate
 of the two dozen princes 24
 that die without winces.
 And add to each day of
 the week. One Week
 --

 I go with the general thinking that it nearly is Time and the Two Movies will be announced on a Monday

 The last paragraph states which monday that is. I like the time zone conversion idea of 7 and 2 and my little time-zone-convertor research shows that is true, so that would mean
 7am Monday in Los Angeles and 2am Tuesday in New Zealand. That would explain the Two Dozen Princes that die without winces as it is not 2am monday but a day (24 hours) later in NZ, without any time having past. The time passes (dies) without anyone noticing (no wincing)

 Adding each day of the week probably means one week from now, so that would be next monday the 28th at 7am LA Time

 | Whether you are Mr. Del Toro or not...welcome! Great riddle!
 If you are, I hope you can keep us up to date on everything "Concerning Hobbits"!

 ~~~~~~
 Círdan saw further and deeper than any other in Middle-earth, and he welcomed Mithrandir at the Grey Havens, knowing whence he came and whither he would return.
 'Take this ring, master,' he said, 'for your labours will be heavy; but it will support you in the weariness you have taken upon yourself. For this is the Ring of Fire, and with it you may rekindle hearts in a world that grows chill.'
 | What about this....... A riddle for you all-
 Half familiar, half unknown. The Hobbit Movie, Unnamed Bridge Movie
 A thing it is, ¨It almost is-¨ The Hobbit is ready to go into production!!, The second movie is neary completed (Plot/Script, Characters, Places, things of that sort need to be worked out)
 This thing all things devours:
 Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
 Gnaws iron, bites steel;
 Grinds hard stones to meal;
 Slays king, ruins town,
 And beats high mountain down. Time?? IE: Tell us When!!
 These next two get me....
 The day of the moon will be
 when all is revealed to thee
 Questions will cease
 Answers will please
 We´ll learn of the Shire
 and all you desire. Some say Monday (Day, Moon) and tonight is a full moon and it will still be visible in the morning But what Monday
 At ten minus Three. 7am
 Joining to be Guillermo joining the crew, sun and moon is the Same sky
 I'm new here, although not at all new to the world of The Professor. I have monitored the recent events VERY closely with the help of the fantastic TORn, but somehow never quite gotten to joining the boards here. But when I saw that GDT himself was here, then... I couldn't keep away any longer!
 So I hope to be embraced into this wonderful community of yours...
 Cheers from Denmark,
 | Hello, as a long time lurker to TORN I thought it was time to actually join up and actively participate.
 Welcome Mr Del Toro also, that riddle is on tough one.
 If however what has been put forward as an answer is correct, with the announcement coming at 7:00 in LA and 02:00 Tuesday in NZ then we are less than an hour away from an answer. if we are wrong however then obviously we are not.
