Research Help for Private Tolkien Letter

I am looking for a complete copy of Tolkiens December 1959 letter to Przemyslaw Mroczkowski. Does anyone know of one? I seen it quoted several times, but no one seems to be able to source it. And as context is always important for understanding a quote, I would like to know what the context is. All help would be appreciated.

****************************************** Brothers, sisters, I was Elf once. We danced together Under the Two Trees. We sang as the soft gold of Laurelin And the bright silver of Telperion, Brought forth the dawn of the world. Then I was taken. Brothers, sisters, In my torment I kept faith, And I waited. But you never came. And when I returned you drew sword, And when I called your names you drew bow. Was my Eldar beauty all, And my soul nothing? So be it. I will return your hatred, And I am hungry.

and few others, but none of them actually give the full text when Tolkien is talking about Lord of the Rings. they just give selected phrases and summaries.... Is there more somewhere?

In the description of the letter, after the last part of page one (which is all we can read) it says, "The letter continues with a detailed discussion of The Lord of the Rings, considering Mroczkowski's suggestion as to 'the simultaneity of different planes of reality touching one another..." That is the section I can find nowhere and is not included in the picture as far as I can tell. Am I missing something?

AFAIK what you see in the auction house listing is all there has been shown in public. Basically, copyright is very tight on unpublished material - for instance, it doesn't come into the public domain 70 years after the death of the author. So reputable dealers; that is, dealers who know what they're doing. do not put up the entire contents of letters which they have for sale. .

I know that Wayne Hammond and Christina Scull some time ago had expressed an interest in producing an expanded edition of The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien. They managed to work quite a few excerpts of previously unpublished material into The J.R.R. Tolkien Companion & Guide, but it would be so nice to be able to read more complete letters. Tolkien in this letter notes that John F. Kennedy died on the same day as C.S. Lewis. There was a third notable figure who passed on Nov. 22, 1963. Who?

Aldous Huxley. I remember because I was puzzling through Brave New World at the time. A bit advanced for a country boy of 10, but scifi books were scarce in those days and second hand scifi even rarer, so one read what one could find. Nowadays there's huge bookstores where entire sections are devoted to scifi but sadly I've gotten really picky in my old age.

Until today, I had no idea there was a Stephen King novel by that title, now adapted into a television series title 11.22.63 on Hulu.
