Great work - the Tolkien Library site interviewed the artist in 2009. [In reply to]	Can't Post

The site you showed us credited most of its photos to Pieter Collier's excellent 'Tolkien Library' site, so I went there and had to hunt for his interview from six years ago. Very brilliant illumination work indeed!

But I wonder if it isn't overkill for the Sil? A lot of the pages seem to diminish the text to where you're not sure whether to read the book or just admire the marginalia and capital letters.
